I have a decent AA that I'm wanting to put into my gloves or boots so I can still have the benefits if I decide to switch my armor types. If I do this and they "fix" it down the road could I lose this AA?

We aren't fortune tellers so nobody knows...
But there is always a possibility.
Why not make use of your AA while you still can?

'Cause that would be the bright thing to do.

The bright thing to do would be risk my valuable AA ina glove/boot that may one day lose the sockets and be rendered? No, the "bright" thing to do would be put it into a piece of armor that is actullay INTENDED to carry sockets for attachments.

Well, what if that day is 2 years from now?
Are you gonna just let it sit until you get an answer?
And if you're saying to yourself the smart thing would be to put it in a piece that's intended, why don't you do so?

I already did so, long before any of you ever responded to my post. I was still a bit curious, however, as their may come the time when I need the extra space for AAs.

Yeah, but there's no way anyone except SOE will know when it'll happen...
I think you did the right thing.

Yeah, after doing so I've looked around and it seems as though I can get gloves/boots/bandoleers that can accept CAs so it's not really as big a deal as I thought it was. I think I'll just steer clear of the AA Boots and Gloves completely.

yes but CAs tend to go for a premium (depending on the mod in question) especially for mods that jedi can use also.

That is true but don't CAs last forever? I mean so long as you keep the piece of clothing that the attachment is attached to you should never lose them. Of course you can always equip a piece of armor with AAs but once the armor is reduced to 0 condition it loses all protection value.

they were "INTENDED" to carry sockets for attachments. Saying that they aren't is the same as saying everything pre-cu was just a dream.

well who knows what if anything will ever come of the 0 condition clothing bug... my best bet is that you find a pre-nerf ubese shirt and put all uber CAs in those ...I dont risk great seas in normal clothes unless it's going into a BE piece that i would be willing to spend an ADK on one day.

I'm extremely doubtful that one day they'll lose their sockets. Even if they do, I doubt any mods that would be attached to said piece of armor would be "deleted" so to speak. I just dont think they have that kind of coding skills from current state of affairs.
