How do I craft Segments above 950? I'musing the new musician buff and the resources listed below. My best segmentsare 904. If the answer is resouces, then I have 1Free Resource Kit. Which resource should I replace first to get the most bang for the buck?
Assault Armor Segment: 904
Polymer 980/693 (OQ/SR)
Iron 748/925
Steel 963/884
Wooly Hide 940/941
Any help greatly appreciated!

The wooly is the only premium resource you have in there. The other three are decent, btu could be improve significantly. I'd advise using a kit on the resources that is uesed the least so you get the most segments as possible out of the kit. This will also have the least impact on your stats, however - it is a balancing act. In all honesty, I'd recommend just being patient and gathering resources for a while longer. These kits are a crutch, be careful about growing dependent upon them. If you need 3 out of 4 general segment resources to be better, I am guessing your specific core/layer resources need work as well, and those spawn in good quality much less frequently. You might wantto save your kit for those.

Thanks bro! I found new Steel and Iron last night so I was able to get the segents up to 924. I had read that high end segments can compensate for weaker resources on your cores, so I was thinking I should put most of my money in segment resources. But your comments on free resource kits make a lot of sense. Dath fiberplast and Plexite gemstone are really difficult to locate on my server, so I think I should use my kits on those guys.

Once I have 900+/900+ resources, what are there any key crafting techniques you recommend? I'm using a Musician Armorsmith buff, crafting in a research city, eating pyollian cake, and drinking bespin port.I'm also dumping all of my experimentation points (11pts) into general protection, and I usually have 1-2 left over. Am I missing anything...standing on one leg...full moon?

You're doing it pretty much the only way it can be done.
Max the resist experimentation, put the rest in condition.
At some point, you might get to where you don't have to max the line for resist and still hit the cap. You probably wouldn't want to do it at the segment level though.

If you are a master armorsmith (with the 10 experimentation points), then resource quality is the ONLY thing that matters. Once you have factored in the 2 percent buff, then all you can do is upgrade your materials when you can. Technique doesn't enter into it. Sadly.

That's what I'm figuring out...they call it a crafting profession but it's really 10% crafting and 90% commodity trading.
