Who here thinks we should be able to wear armor. I personally would like to know what exactly I'm selling to my customers.

And then weaponsmiths would want to be able to use any weapon. I personally don't have to wear a suit of armor to know what I'm selling to my customers.

Id be happy to be able to wear it just for show. Make it so its protection does not work on an AS. At least i could show it to customers, and wear it around as advertisement.

Personaly I think this was a stupid change w/ the CU. Just because you dont have mitigation, that shouldnt stop you from putting on the type of armor, it would just hinder you. You should be able to wear anything, but you should only be able to move quickly and fight effectively in the type of armor your certified for.

I think a master AS should be able to wear any type of armor in the game, but just have a very high hindrance so that you move very slowly. Make it totally not practical, only for showing customers.

While it would be nice for anyone and everyone to be able to don armor, even allowing for full hindrances, it's not likely to happen anytime soon. Furthermore, we have more pressing things to worry about (Bug1, Colors, etc).

i would love to be able to wear any kind of armor on my AS and i think it should be like a dummy suit with no protection or anything just the look of the armor.

Honestly I think that this is a great Idea. Especially since youre not a combat profession, youre really not going to be able to do too much in combat with it. Being able to Wear it just toSee it on yourself is quite Viable I think. Plus it would be fair for those unfortunate situations where a No Combat Armorsmith gets involved in a random NPC attack they would then have a bit better of a chance to survive. Plus they Should Be Increadibly Slow Due to the Armor Hinderance *Spelling* as they would not be Trained to Fight in the Armor.

Now that Im on this... Every Profession should be able to equip All Armor like Pre CU, with all of the same restrictions as above. Every one should be able to Equip the armor, but the Effects of Wearing Armor that is Outside of your Profession would cause such a great Armor Hinderance *Spelling* that using it in Combat would would not be such a great Idea. But at least you can have the looks still for when youre just hanging out.

I don't like this idea, it leads to too many cookie cutter sets of armor

If a BH wants best energy resists, he has to think about his other profession. He doesn't get to be FOTM MBH/MCM and still use recon armor. He will have to stick with a more middle of the road energy resist or match up a different profession (like pistoleer, etc)

What does that have to to with a Master Armorsmith being able to wear Any type of armor Just to See what it looks like?

And if you're refering to what I said about all Professions being able to wear any type of armor, It wouldnt matter there either. If you have Armor Hindrances for wearing armor that you wouldnt NORMALLY be able to wear, then the Combat portion of wearing Armor would stay Exactly the same.

Basically if you try to fight in the armor that your profession DOESNT Normally wear, youre gonna lose cause you wont be able to move around as much, Good Luck Fighting. So everyone would be sticking to the exact same Armor that they wear right now for Combat. This is just so that they would be able to Look different when they are not fighting.

LOL

I SHOULD get to wear any type of armor. What does it matter what I'm wearing if my CL1 Armrosmith/Tailor/ Artesan/ Merchant gets one hit incapped by a passing durni?
