There is a discussion on this in the pikeman forums about this.

The concern is the amount of credits spent on AA attachments, and if the mods will still stick if the shirts, bandoliers,and belts reach a 0 condition.

Can anyone give some insight on this?

Shirts and Bandoliers will get condition assigned to them come publish 10 according to TC notes. As of now you can still equip items that reach 0 condition but look for that to change in the near future also.

As for how much to spend on armor attachments I would suggest to keep in mind that the attachments will not be eternal and will eventually decay to uselessness. If you have the money and think it's worth the investment go for it. Just try not to die and always keep it insured
