I am trying to help a friend gain medical experience and am looking for ideas on things I can do to help her. I'll list what we've tried with their problems.

Ideas: Problem

Healing wounds in med center Unpreditable need, sometimes there are lots of people who need healing (yay!!), most times nada

Healing EntertainersIn large cities (ie. coronet, theed) there seems to be more medics than entertainers doing this which gets crowded and aggrivating, in smaller cities there are often times no entertainers at all.

Tumbling I can't figure out how to tumble, so we've never tried this.

PoisonThis is the one we're currently most happy with, I'm a ranger sofind some vicious animal, get poisoned or diseased, whileshe stands back and heals all the damage I take. I keep the creature from going aggro on her and we chat while the the animal laughs at my paultry combat skills and she heals me.

Any other ideas would be nice, I'm willing to try some more exotic things to help out. In the end I'll get a combat medic to help me so any pain and suffering I have to endure now will be worth it in the end.

Sounds like you have the right idea. tumbling is a quick way (you get the skill from the ranged tree in marksmenship). But you have a better method, it sounds like to me. A MCM could really help you along as far as giving someone wounds.

Heres the way i went from low to high in about 5 hrs (not continous) gameplay:

1.) find a Brawler whos getting xp for a novice elite profession like TK or Fencer
(try and get one who was/is hologrinding and has previously mastered doctor or medic: they usually have some extra med's they will fork over when they find out how helpful you are)
2.) Make alot of B's or C's (you need more than A's LOL)
(try and find a med driod-the most you need is an MSE-so you can make them in the field when you run out)
3.) Get some vasarian brandy or moun
4.) Get the brawler (without buffs) to hunt pikets/savage quenkers/whatever
5.) Heal the crap out of brawler

I went from 3-3-3-4 to 4-4-4-4 in five hours, plus i went from 0-1-0-0 pistoleer to 0-2-1-1
Good med xp and combat xp (if you want it) plus its fun.....i have little patience so i can't do the whole healing a tumbler routine...

Well I went out with my medic friend this evening dead set on finding me a nice spider queen to poison me with when she turns to me and says, "I don't really see why we have to go through all of this, Endor is just some giant farm gone horribly wrong. The goats will impail you, the horses eat you, the pigsbleed youand of course there are your precious spiders and oversized ticks, why don't you just take off your armor and let something hit you for a while." I felt like a dunce, muttering something about the need for trapping XP I took off my armor and loaded up a CDEF carbine (which I have no experience in) and we found a nice lair of bordoks within 500m of the outpost. I spent the next 3 hours getting my butt kicked by horses (I think I managed tokill two of them)and she healed me up, went from 2/2/2/x to 3/4/4/x durning the buff which also included a quick trip to Theed for BF healing and training midway through, which I think is pretty good. As we were leaving she turned to me and said, "now wasn't my way easier dear." I shut my mouth and jumped on the shuttle as fast as I could.

I think I learned a lesson today...

Carbine users are great for leveling medics too. A friend of mine leveled his second toon through medic by following a carbineer guild mate and myself (Doc/CM with carbine 4) around as we killed things. I buffed the carbineer and myself for health and action only, and we did enough damage to ourselves just by using out specials, that the medic had lots of healing to do. The only problem was that I had to resist the urge to throw an area stim when I saw his health and action drop. It's amazing how hard it is to NOT heal someone sometimes.

I certainly prefer any method that involves healing people in combat. But, if you have a CM willing to help (along with a willing victim), diseases can be your best friend. Just be sure to keep the victim's battle fatigue in check or you'll be wasting woundpacks.

I decided to try to grind out ALL the professions just to say I did them. Dumb I know but I get these ideas sometimes. Anyway what I am looking for is a good way of grinding out the xp for this profession. I breezed through architect making the statues and was wondering if there is a similiar item that is good xp for armorsmith. Thanks for your reponses I am sure they will all help.

For some time now I have been trying to think of activities that all of my citizens can take part in. So far the only idea I have come up with is Home Decorating Contests... and lets face it, most "men" don't want to decorate because they feel they don't have what it takes to come up with ingenious ideas. We have our first Home Deco Contest coming up on August 29 and after that i figure every holiday I'll have deco. contests for the citizens. But I want something else fun! Something that will attract most if not all of my citizens (all ages, humans, mon cals, wookies, etc). So if some of you don't mind sharing your ideas I'd LOVE to hear them

Thank You!
