a disgruntled AS receiving nasty emails for selling a reasonable product for a more then reasonable price in mass quantity, suddenly slashed their prices in half ad sold at true cost? just to piss people off more.

You'd get some nice bargain shoppers thanking you and then you'll quickly get burnt out for providing a service with no financial satisfaction for compensation. For me I like crafting armor but I want compensation for my time and enough capital to build up so I can keep expanding my business *shrug* But, if you enjoy doing it just ignore the emails and do your thing. It's only a game, so as long as you aren't undercutting just to be a **edit** there is no reason why you can't get enjoyment out of supplying armor with no profit.

True cost is sortaa grey area, some people pay miners to supply them with resources, some do it themselves...you can guess who has the lower cost associated with minerals.

On Naritus, depending on where you are located, there are a few other Armorsmiths that would buy you out and then resell your stuff at a profit or just buy you out to get you off of the market.

When ever you factor "true cost" be sure to include all the credits you could have gotten running "solo group" missions while you where poor and grinding out AS in addition to the cost o materials and the time you spent gathering them which you could also have used to run "solo group" Janta missions.

When I first read your post, I was thinking something along the lines of 25 - 30k for a full suit of composite since that is roughly what it costs me to put together an unlayered suit, a bit more for a Kinetic triple layered, but not a ton more. My suits that I make which are Kinetic 80/80/68 are on my vendor for around 200k per suit. 178,500 isn't a bargain and certainly isn't selling a suit at cost. I know there are differences between servers and such, but they can't be that major. There are several Armorsmiths on Naritus that have much lower prices than me (like regular poster on here, Ronne).

K, point taken, I guess if I run out of what I harvested myself as far as inorganics go, I'd just make something different for awhile. I never hord less than 1 million units of any inorganic when it spawns - and luckily that has always lasted me.

And I know prices very, I thought I said that. (

That's true and I mine what I can when I can but there is never enough room to hold it all. Let alone good named resources dont spawn very often.

Costs vary from server to server. Wooly alone is selling for well over 100cpu, colat close to 100, copper is over 50 etc etc. my original 300k per suit was a good price and the average for the same quality on Bria.

Ow so true this is

Selling why onder the Econemy prices ... just burns you down you sell very quick with less profit, you maiby got the same credits on the bank of people selling hihger ... but eventuly you higher the prices to slow down the sales because wordt is speading and sales are ever increasing.... vendor becomes empty and people finding empty vendors never come again....

Also when a good wooly shift or so hit your unable to get a large sum to spend on it because your profit marge is to low so eventuly your paying more for the resourse sell less and making no profit at all.... als calculate the investment of time in your product and what about 50-80mil woth on Experiment and assembly tapes... you need to get that type of investments back orhterwise you get the feeling that your doing it for nothing.....
