I have about 70% encumberance. Would this cause my Health bar to regain VERY slowly?

I cannot figure why it takes sooooo long tonight to regain my Health. Any suggestions?

I seem to have food and drink in me.

I was just thinking.. Could it be my health was so affected because I ate a Jar of Grubs?

Check what your constitution is with armor on and off. You will probably see the culprit. When you want to heal more quickly, just take off your armor. Your constitution will rise, and your health will regen much quicker.

What is point of buying a full set of padded armour when the encumberance costs prevent any player from wearing the full set?

Well, technically you can migrate your stats (depending on your species) and hopefully wear the whole thing. Personally, I think the idea of an ultra high-tech PADDED armor having more weight and constrictiveness than a big suit made out of dead bugs is stupid. I'm hoping the devs will at least increase our ability to experiment on encumbrance.

Can someone explain the whole encumberance concept?

Well, If you are wearing armor..you get penaltys as well as bouns for doing so so You take less damage, but your over Healt mind ect... numbers are lowered...something like that..

You have have two types of attributes: primary and secondary.

Your Primary attributes are your HAM "pools." These are what you see in the HAM bars when you target a creature, NPC, or player. When oneof them goes to zero, you're incapped (or you kill the creature or NPC). Armor has no direct effect on these.

Your secondary attributesdetermine how much of a particular pool your special actions drain, and how fast you recover your pools. Armor encumbrances lower your secondary attributes, making your specials burn more pool points, and making it take longer to recover them.

Armor crafters can experiment on armor to reduce (and supposedly elimnate) encumbrances. Slicing armor can also reduce its encumbrances.

You can offset the encumbrances of armor by doing one or more of the following:

1) Consuming food or drink.

2) Using spices.

3) Getting a medic friend to give you buffs.

If I were to get a set of armor with Ubese Armor Jacket, Composite Left/Right Bracer, Composite Boots, Composite Gloves, Ubese Leggings, and a Tantel Helm what kind of encumberance would I be looking at?

Also, how much would that run me credits wise, and can ubese pants be made in dark green?

Lastly, do Tantel helmets look good on Twi'leks?

I'm on Chilastra, if it helps.

Just a wild guess here, since I don't really track HAM costs, but I would say you would be pushing 350 or so HAM.

Also, Ubese pants can't be colored yet, and as far as I know, Twi'leks can't wear Tantel Helmets.

Couldn't begin to guess on the pricing on Chilastra. So I won't mislead you with giving my Starsider prices on something like that.

dont forget encumbrance numbers effect each sublevel the same ie 100 Mind encumberance is a -100 to both sub sections of the mind area of your HAM

Hi

Just crafting my better Kinetic layers at the moment, and half come to a point where I have 2 points of exp left.... with the option to exp on Encumberance, or an extra few elecrrical %.

Just wondering what people's personal opinion is as to what they regard as more important. Would you rather have an extra few Elec %, or the armour being marginally lighter?

Regards,

Boro
