I used to have an 80% kin and 70% in everything else comp armour, now due to damage, its down to 66.1 % kin and 50% everything else.

My q is this can an Armoursmith, restore or repair this back to its "normal" state or should I go on a hunt for a brand new comp instead. By normal I dont necesarrily mean back to a 100% of what it was, but just 95% would still be nice. This armour had a price tag of 400k when I bought it, so Id hate to let i go down the drain

Thx for any info

you dont even need an armor smith to repair it to back to full stats (condition will take a 2-7k hit) but stats will go back to full..... just use a 100.0 repair tool and have at it

I would suggest either finding the armorsmith that made your armor and getting it fixed by him/her or searching one out to fix it. Some 'smiths have armor repair tapes and do an awesome job of fixing armor.

You also might consider a 100k set of kinetic ubese armor for doing your bread and butter missions, as it is more disposable, but beware the chestplate, it takes loads of damage so you should ideally buy 2 of those.

Repairing also brings the chance that you'll break your armor also, but since your stats are starting to go down it is a good time to repair the armor so you can get a little better use out of it.

Best bet is to find an armorsmith that has invested in Repair CA tapes. They might charge you a fee for the time but they have a better chance of repairing it with only minor blemishes.
