Y'all alive?

Any new bugs/issues I should know about? How about accomplishments? Good news? Jokes (humorous please )?

I'm going to be poking about out bug list later today (after I eat breakfast and feed the cat so she doesn't attempt to eat my foot in the middle of the night again). I'll let y'know what I find out.

Pester the devs to remove identical core requirements on legs/helms/chests PLEASE! Making enhanced armor is even more tedius than before, its just not worth it.

And push again for lowering resource requirements (total amounts) and reducing factory time.

The current system just increases the barrier between the established players and newcomers. Quad-layered advanced armor is sold for 1-3mill (server dependant) and new players (and casual oldies) just can't afford it.

Reduced resource requirements and factory time should increase the availability of armor on the market and hopefully reduce the prices (supply and demand still rules...)

Add to that the very high decay on armor. It adds up to a very bad bill for the customers.

Has anyone done a study on armor decay yet? I really forget (as I'm trying to keep track of 20 other threads atm).

Personally I dont care for the lower condition values on the basic and standard suits either. Im going to offer these for the noobs and those in poverty, but basic armor made with the best materials seems to cap at 16k condition..... that just wont help people. I suggest that armor condition be RADICALLY increased across the board. If you pay 1m for a suit of armor that suit should last you weeks of hard grinding. I know most smiths dont want that... high decay=more sales, but in the long run people will just stop buying your armor.

The condition should be dependant on the appearance type too. Comp and RIS should have insane condition, whereas bone well.... its made out of animal remains. Give it a 50k cap or something. (for basic)

And by radical, I mean give RIS 250k condition, comp 200k, tantel 150k etc.

Or maybe actually give us those damned loots that we are supposed to be making armor out of instead of withholding it for future "Content Updates" when people get bored and restless!

Oh, and get them to remove the freaking caps on protection and health! Im pushing 5800 on my best cores now... WTH is the point if I lose 200-300 protection because stuff caps at 6k? Same for health, rumor has it that its now capped at +50 per piece, well thats messed up. If I triple krayt a piece and then use a feather I should get whatever the values read (nothing on the feathers ATM but in test they were +11 etc)

Sorry, my trolling here is sporadic, but I wanted to make sure the issue with the last loot component in a stack not 'unstacking' (and thereby being useless for hand-crafting) was known.

Related to this, why do we have to unstack them at all? (Question to the designers, not you) Factory crates and resource containers both work with hand crafting when stacked, and they are not gobbled up/treated as one item when placed into an input hopper for a factory run.

Hey Caile, get them to fix the armor crates already. I have 45 crates of composite armor that I cant use because when I remove the armors from the crates, the stats reduce by 50%. Its quite aggravating to have the armor sitting there, but not able to be used or sold.

I'm making armor at 60k+ condition with advanced cores and no experimentation into the condition line in the segs ( anyone know if this makes a difference? ). I know armor "decays faster" but if you lose 1-2k per hour, that's over 30 hours of use for a set. Factor in repairs and you can easily make a suit last two weeks of hard gaming. Basic armor shouldn't last that long, but also doesn't take that much to make. One segment, one core.. it's cheap and so it shouldn't last long.

Issues I would like to see addressed:

1) Factory times - enhanced items simply take too long to make

2) Possibly changing the same serial requirement for cores in Helm/chest/legs - Again, enhanced items are a bear to make.

3) If there is a cap on health per piece, get it removed.

4) Armor should decay by the amount of damage it stops, not the amount it lets through. It's simply logical and would make armor last just a bit longer. That would also make the issue of noob armor at 16k seem a lot more reasonable. ( not sure if an answer to this was already given, haven't seen one ).

That's all for now.

60-70k condition faction suits are NOT used to grind professions. People need cheap grind armor and the stuff we can now make is just not affordable if it burns out in 3-4 days of hard grind. I dont know about you, but my best non faction is my ubese with its 47.5k condition, and thats with some killer appearance materials AND 2-3 extra points spent on cores and segments (i grind segments for amazing on my unlayered)

Why prod for more? Your list of top ten should be the focus of devs. Your job is to keep them focused on those, and get them accomplished.
