Went there, but the old man didn't want to speak to me. Claimed I had to Master the AS profession.....thought I did that some time ago, must have been mistaken. Any other oldies who already have done the RIS quest tried it?

For the record, I am already RIS certified but lack the Feathered Appearance schem.

Update: I DID get the schematic, even though he didn't want to speak with me. I also got the Interwoven RIS schematic, seems to be identical to normal RIS.

Feathered Appearance Enhancer is supposed to give a health bonus to the armor (in addition to using segment enhancers). However, it only seems to work for Peko Peko feathers looted post CU. Pre-CU feathers don't provide the bonus (at least, not yet they don't).

Ive tried the feathered appearance layer twice now and nothing becomes of it. What does it take to patch this small bugg? O went back to RIS quest dude, said I need to become Master AS before he would speak to me...well thats what I am, I don't know. The dev's screw with our trade the most with CU and cannot at least fix these buggs quickly...

Hello my Armorsmith Brothers.

I don't recall anyone posting the whereabouts of this Schematic and what it needs to craft but, so here's the information you need:

I got the schematic after RE-COMPLETING the RIS Quest.

For those that know me I was Sarek, one of the main RIS crafters on Farstar, Sarek was deleted in a relationship accident and thus I created Saigo who went back to Armorsmithing, I enjoyed making RIS so I decided I'd go back and redo the quest since the resources/components are plentiful and cheaper now.

Upon Completion the Master also presented me with the Feathered Appearence Armor Enhancement. I am guessing that if you just go back and visit him WITH the certification already given to you he will just hand it over if you don't automatically have it.

The Schematic Requires:

135 Polysteel Copper
85 Laboi Crystaline
100 Oridium Intrusive
1 Peko Peko Albatross Feather

The description Is:

"Strengthens the Materials Used in Armor Core
Construction and Reinforces normally bad wearing
spots"

I guess they found a use for all those Peko Peko Albatross feathers then
