I am looking for the highest energy stats possible in recon armor, right now I have a set of tantel with 5956 energy resist, is there a "best" energy resistant armor?

also I have piles of NS layers +15 health, I have heard these are helpful in recon armor, are there any other components I could gather that would be helpful in making the best armor out there? and how many NS layers could you stack on one piece?

any help with this would be much appreciated

Layers and their effects on different armors

hope this helps..... depending on resources, patience, and crafting tapes your results may vary

Oh and the +15 enhancers will give health bonuses, not bonuses to armors.

so these stats are equal across all armor types, in other words there is no "best" armor anymore?

armors have a +/- modifier depending on the TYPE of suit.

the caps, without layers, are:

6000 across the board on battle

7000 kin/5000 energy/6000 acid/cold/heat/elec on assault

7000 energy/5000 kin/6000 acid/cold/heat/elec on recon

now with that being said, layers can be added to adjust stats.

i could make a suit of assault or recon layered to balance stats so they are roughly 6000/6000/6000. or i could layer recon and assault to hit roughly 8000/4000/6000.

for you, if you are a MBH hunting jedi, i would highly recommend a suit of energy layered recon armor. 8000+ energy. unsliced. hope this helps

if your on valcyn your not gonna get energy layered unless sum1 has a majic stahs of plxite amorphous gemstone....

300days on a basic layer requirement.... pull the other one
