Ok, heres my question, hope im on the right board=D

Lets say I have a helmet, 4 sockets, nice stats blah blah blah.

Then I have, say two Armor attachments, Dodge +5, and Dodge +6.

Ok, if I stick one in,il get eather +5 or +6 dodge, Yep no doubt about that.

If I stick both in the same armor, Will i get +11 or will it ignore one? Anyone know?

Thanks for any imput=)

Last I checked (I use this disclaimer because things have a tendency to change without publication from the devs from time to time)- You would have +11.

The only time it seems to ignore attributes is if you have an armor attachment with say, +5 melee def and +4 ranged def. The tendency in this situation is for it to only regonize the higher of the two (if it's on ONE attachment).

After having read the post today on the main page, it seems socketed items have a cap on how much of a modifier it can hold. I have no info on what the caps are specifically, but if the cap was say 10, then instead of +11 between the two, you'd cap at +10 with the extra point being wasted. But then again, the cap could be +20, as I said, I don't know the caps (and if anyone has a link to them, pretty please post!)

I would asume its +25, because thats the cap on Bio clothing, ie my Hat, but i see your point, and ty for the insite, maybe someone else will have an answer for this, from trial/error

The way it is supposed to work is that you would get +11. The last I heard, what actually happens is that the second attachment with mods on the same skill will poof. You will end up with a +5 bonus.

ya it don't stack in the same cloth/armor, it only keep highest number!!! It's working as intended CS agents told me when I first tryed it long ago lol, and it's still working like this today and dev don't wanna implement a system that don't actually EAT the tape and give you a warning msg instead...

also you can't have more then 8 different stat on the same cloth/armor.

only one tape will work, the first tape added is overwritten by the last tape added, i tried it with two tapes +1 food exper and +2 food experi. only the +2 showed up.

thats per each individual item, so you could add and get the bonus from both as long as they were on diff items.
