Thread: PSG and slicing them (proposal)

This is from a post in the Smuggler forum that I made and someone suggested I bring it here and get some feedback. I was looking for what you all think in general about PSGs, how they sell, and if you think what I posted is relevant to your profession as far as selling more PSGs or if, frankly, you even care.

Quick question...
I haven't seen anything in particular in revamp threads bout Personal Shield Generators and slicing them. I hadn't even thought of it until last night when a player came to me with 20 PSGs and I had to inform him that he could still get Encumbrance or Effectiveness even though the only thing that could be altered is the effectiveness. Fortunately, he still wanted them all sliced.
Anywho...but I guess my question or request would be that if someone has brought this up about slicing PSGs, they could confirm. Or if someone wanted to propose this in a revamp thread or LodekDall add to the C forum (someone with more voice than a peon like me)...I'd say when they redo the tree that slicing a PSG can change the Effectiveness or the Durability/Condition of the PSG. I mean, even with a revamp which is supposed to fix everything or a lot...a 43% encumbrance slice on a PSG is still worthless. And personally, I think if we can fix these up where they can become especially usefull (even more so) they'd sell more and become a little more popular.
