I went to a research facility city to make my first batch of imperial psg's. the very first one i made had no vulns at all but I crit failed on one of the steps so I destroyed it and made a new one. now every one i make after that first one results in

a kinetic vuln and 2 others i forget which. I bought 2 more psg schematics and have gone thru 14 more bugged schemes.

I just cant seem to get a "no vuln" schematic like a did on my very first try. Iv taken shuttles to different cities to try to get

around that bug and have had no luck at all. im not sure if those bugged stats are just cosmetic or not but I dont want to

mass produce psg's that even have the description of being vuln to kinetic. does anyone have a way to bypass this bug?

im guessing this is due to the psg stat shift bug thats been in the game forever lol

thanks

You wasted so much time and resources. With the stat shift, it does not matter how they end up, they will always change.

Just pretend that the PSG you aremaking has all the stats.

Well wont the description say that it is vuln on 3 stats when ppl id it on a vendor? I think its worse getting this shifting stat crap when its on the shematic vs the final product.

Only people that know how PSGs work will buy them. Everyone else thinks they don't work, period.

You are right, the PSG will have vuln, but there is nothing you can do about that. You proved that to yourself with all the wasted ones you did.

Personally, I carry multiple ones with me so I can choose the one with less vuln. If you are worried about people not buying them because they list vuln, then be prepared for the idiots that send you tells when the vuln shifts.

Hi,

Wookie here, never understood PSG's can you please explain. Kind of tired getting incapped by everything in the world.

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.

at what point do PSGs shift vulnerability? when you shuttle? or just randomly

The PSGs shift vulnerabilities each time you cross a server boundary. This happens when you take a shuttle for instance, but also if you are just driving the same trip.

To get your PSG to work, you first have to check if the damage you want it to protect against is not a vulnerability, if it is, equip another one from your pack. Also, if the shield is not absorbing anything, just reequiping it works in most cases. It is often wise to reequip the shield inbetween every fight, just to make sure.

If your shield at any time hits 0 condition it is just an expensive piece of junk, just like other armor this happens to. Try to repair it before this happens if you are able to. (sometimes they decay too fast). Shields seem to decay at a set rate of 1/10th of the damage passed through the shield, so even if a 2.5k condition MkI seems like a nice choice, a MkIII with say 40% base resists and 1k condition will last alot longer. Around 33k* damage is required to bring said MkIII down. Do also note that the shields reduce the damage upon your precious armor (if you have any), so consider them double insurance.

*It is kinda late (01:18), so my calculatingskills might have taken a trip down the drain.

I've noticed shifting over time for no reason, hmm maybe couse i left my house then came back.

Best is to have couple crates at different "protection shift" and examine them more often.

Or to travel untill they all "healthy" looking, but we all LOVE to travel dont we =)

PSGs have also shifted for me when pulling them out of a crate. I used to only make the schematics with no vulns but by the time they hit the vendor they have vulns listed.

Wish they could have fixed this instead of changing the way experimentation works which more then likely now seems like it will go live
