It looks like the Bria and Gorath servers have been choosen for the conversion testing. (check dev posts) I hope some of you can provide some details as to the before and afters on layers, segs, finished armor, schems (crafted andlooted)and loot.

I'll have to remember to take screenshots then. I've got alot of intrest in how this is going to work so. And it jsut so happens I recently finished a run of layers which I'll make afew segments out of and then make some completed pieces of armor from. Just to see what the conversion options and results are. (complete with the stats I had pre conversion and post conversion)

Afterall what the hell do I have to loose?

I just hope they roll the database back to the 7th like they said. I did a massive move right about that time and had a lot of stuff about to expire off a moving vendor.

Any word on when this conversion system is supposed to be implemented for live testing?

be a shame to test without +20 and +25 even if I cant use them all.

You can do plenty. It'll be interesting to see how 10pt, 11pt and 12pt armor converts.

Dont know about the rest of you 12pts but I plan on testing all 3 aspects. Since my suit can serve as both a 12 and an 11pt. I'd normally just make a few handcrafted gloves to test it out with... but with gloves now being rendered useless...

Well maybe i'll make acrap pair anyway and see what the hell happens. AFterall peole will want to know what happens to all those boots and gloves that sucked up their share of high end resoruces.

It will be great to see how 10 pt items convert.

I don't imagine that crafting will need to be tested there, rather more of a before and after stats comparision of your schems, layers, segments, finals and loot (for AS).

I'm guess there will be tweaking that occurs which would mean arestore to the copy they made. A rerun of the conversion process and then bringing the server back up. Just be sure you are comparing the same serial #s each time.
