Thread: News from the Devs on TC
- There are currently no plans to make crafting / experimentation more complex in the CURB. I did not get a reply on whether there were any plans for the future.
- He was not very positive to reducing the resource requirements. He was caught up with the people wanting all their existing resources to be useful, but I tried to explain that the amount of resources in each schematic is too high, and that this was the bigger problem.
- There will be no Intervowen RIS post-CURB. Better use your schematics now, that said, the conversion results are looking bleak.
I am going to try to pick up the conversation again at theearliest opportunity, so if anyone has any good (=persuasive) arguments, please post them here.
Please keep the flaming in another thread, we all know how we feel about this. I want to thank Blix for taking the time to discuss this, and if we keep it civil we may be able to have more conversations like this in the future. Maybe we can even persuade him to rethink some of this...
just my thoughts
...and i'm not liking this CU stuff one bit

Thank you Thula.
Its great that they are having our current resources still be useful.....but its sad that there are so many other issues that they do not care about fixing to make at least some of us happy. You would think that they would care a little more about this than they do.
/sigh....what to do anymore. ![]()
I can confirm this, I have suits of Interwoven & Non on the Gorath Armor Test server, they converted to the same stats.

About a week ago I started to see lots of these schems pop up on the board so I INVESTED into a few and was going to WAIT until after the CU to use them. What a mistake that was. I even finally bit the bullet and became a 12 pt smith a few weeks back...for what? Granted I didnt pay 2m per point but 1m per point roughly..
After skimming the AS forums I am actually starting to debate on keeping my crafting account(as/ws/merch) or not. I could quickly auction off all my resources for roughly 10cpu and my hides for 75cpu and be sitting at around 100m(was my goal as a crafter to hit 100 million before I retired). Almost every serious crafter I know has spent millions on buying rare resources and hides ... NOT IN BULK...I am not one of them myself but I do run a HQ Resource vendor and majority of my stuff averages 10cpu because of the quality and how rare it is.

Thanks for the information, Thula, though I wish you had been able to bring better news.
