The rules of the game cannot be both complete and consistent.
Players apply real-world moral standards ingame.
Real-world moral standards are consistent.
Therefore defining complete predictability of game outcomes will violate player moral values.
CU is intended to produce complete predictability of game outcomes by fixing the leveling system.
Therefore, ....

P.S. Quality control matters.

Actually it is intended to make the game more intriguing and entertaining however it is also removing the "thought" aspect of it for many players. Yes if I equip a weapon there is a good chance someone of the same level as I am will be an evem match and that can be fun for some. Though others might enjoy the challenge of taking on a superior player or NPC simply because "it shouldnt be possible".
You also vant place morals into the cobat aspect of this game. Normal real life morals dictate there is a penalty for rampant killing of other people while in a game people do it for fun. It has nothing to do with morals outside of "fair play" though once again in a game some people will do anything "for the win". Is that a bad thing? No as long as they dont break the rules. The developes set the rules and the standards players simply use them within their guidelines and those who dont and exploit the system get banned for doing so. The CU simly makes PVP and even level PVE last longer, it does not make it more entertaining outside feeling like "i am actually doing something!" when you arent. It's still based on skills, it's still based on equipment, it's still being based on cunning. Just now it's ALL being reduced to a minor vision of what it once was and could have been.
From a crafting aspect, crafting is our game and not combat. If you remove all thought needed from what you do you become nothing more than a drone and a clone doing the same thing day in and day out without any value to what you do. We as human being enjoy challenge and "figuring out the puzzle" as it were. With how it is being presented to us now, not only is the puzzle being removed but the old puzzle that took ages of hard work to figure out and do our best at is being removed as well.
I ask anyone this, if you gain nopersonal value orenjoyment from a thing that is not a necessity in life itself, why do you do it?
Disclaimer: I speek only for myself and this is MY opinion only. While some others may feel as I do I do not speak for them what so ever.
