I am just curious if anyone had some ubese segments in a crate, what they converted to, since everything is assault, recon, and battle now.

Same for tantel and chitin segments.

Anyone have any idea?

Comp segments didn't convert. I had quite a few lying around, and they appear to be unusable. They claim to be a variation of"Armor crate", but they don't have the crate icon, and you can't get anything on the radial menu for them other than 'Examine' and 'Destroy'.

I'm pretty sure you can kiss any segments goodbye when the conversion hits.

That's kind fo a jip. They should at least have them convert to a generic segment to go into a specific armor.

Same with layers had no stats.

Any and all Layers, Segments, and loot drops and imperial PSGs converted with abosolutely no stats.

Interestingly enough though converted armor keeps the same condition as it had when converted. And if it was damaged the new condition cap is what ever the remaining condition is.

I havent checked yet though to see if the segmetns and the like are useable in crafting on the TC but I doubt it or if they do. They likely wont do anything for you as they lack statistics.

It could well be they just havent looked at it yet. Time will tell.
