Well my buddy took a long break for the game, and I'm maintaining his accounts, prob is that one is a Master Armorsmith, and while I did use to be an Master Artisan for a short time on another account, I'm having lots of probs here. one of the things our guild weapie like to do is give out basc Newb weaons to new players, to help them out, build a customer base, and help recruit for the guild. I tried doing this, and can't figure out the layer stuff. For example, i'm trying to make Armorweave armor (It's cheap and has kinetic resist which is what a new player killing kreetles really need) I can't get the Advanced segments over 5%. I get to 5% base on them after putting 5 points into them, but I can't get over that, even if I put all 10 points in. Another thing is that I can't put a kinetic layer in the advanced armorweave segment. It it supposed to go in the "enhancement" slot under where I put the bronzium iron and ditanium steel? i can't get above 23% base resistences, and he has decent resources. I've made 37 percent energy resistant bone armor before, this doesn't add up to me. can anyone help me out?

Armorweave is very light armor, and so even advanced versions will still have very low resistances. Of course you can make it virtually weightless at the same time. They are nice when you are just starting out but generally start to lose their value after a while once you get past the newby areas.

Sadly armorweave cannot be layered, which keeps it strictly to very light armor. You will need to make more advanced armors if you wish to layer armors, I might suggest also making some cheap ubese armor, it doesn't take very good resources to get 50+% kinetic ubese, which is awesome to a young player, and can be very cheap to produce.

I second the Ubese suggestion. I sold quite the bit on the bazaar and on a vendor back in the day.

You'll get some loyal customers that will look back to you and your armor as they progress into the game also.
