Okay, my friend of mine who decided he was gonna take up armorsmith again is trying to grind up to PA III so he can grind ubese shirts. His macro when looking for AUKs used to use /sel 26 as the schematic ID number for when using a weap/droid/generic crafting kit. So anyway... upon doing that instead of bring up an Armor Upgrade Kit, it brings up the new Starship Toolkit. And after going through all he /sel numbers he was unable to find AUKs anywhere.

Can anyone else try this and verify it for me? We both tried and had no luck, and want to see if there is something broke, or it was just us. If anyone can try this as soon as possible, please lemme know and give me a quick report.

Thanks much,

-Okram

Working on it now...

I see the schem itself in my datapad, but it's not where I expect it to be in the numbering. Will update when I finish trying to find it...

Ok, comes up with a /sel 00 for me (as MAS, but this may be different for others - as I seem to recall the schematic numbers changing as you work up the ranks)

I noticed a odd change with one of the last hot fixes, instead of being the last things in my datapad all my armor got bumped up to the top of the list I have a feeling this has something to do with this.

AUK should beeither # 3 or 4 for me but I'm hitting mine explosion and a firework in those to spaces.

Try using 00 or 0as your selected draft schematic, I finally hit AUK with a weapon, droid general.

I was about to go through them all and hit AUK on both of those numbers, might be a fluke but its worth a shot. I'm still going to kill some time and crank through the rest of the numbers to see if I can find the phantom AUK in there.

The numbering of schematics begins with 0,1,2,3...
The numbers do change but only after you logout and in again. So if your grinding, the numbers will stay the same even after you learn new skills, but only as long as you dont log out. If you have the xp but not learnt any skills the numbers wont change when you relog.

resets when you level and get more schematics in your datapad. However, the change in the number of schematics in your datapad will not register until you relog. This is often why you only notice it after relogging while leveling, but the change in schematic number has to do with gaining new schematics in your datapad from learning a new skillbox

as the armorsmith correspondent why don't you tell your friend to just grind it out and not use a macro like a holo smith

Yeah, why use a macro, we should all just be able to gather a few large stacks of resources, make some schematics and sit next to our factories singing kumbaya all day while our XPcomes in like all the real old school Armorsmiths did it.

Wake up, macros are the true way of grinding a profession. Being an Armorsmith is not about the leveling, its about playing it as a Master. Why would you want to spend anymore time then you had to at n00b levels of the profession? Why just wait till you have the whole enchilada before you start learning the ropes?
