Thread: Petition to fix Ithorian armors (sign please)

I have recently unlocked my second slot and made my alt an ithorian. I have always like the idea of playing as an ithorian in SWG long before Jump to Lightspeed. At first I thought wow! their armor is awesome looking...which it is, but then once i got a set of it, my opinions changed someone.
As many of you know the Ithorian armors are bugged. The composite equivalent is vulnerable to several damage types, while some of their padded armor has come out even better than the comp equivalent. This makes it so that the Ithorian is basically wearing a Iron suit with 6 inch holes. I made my second toon to be a crystal hunter mainly, and to have fun. For PvE he shouldnt have too much troubles...however I have jedi in my guild and I would like to be able to aid them if they have people coming after them, therefore leading to some pvp eventually sooner or later. I know that if any BH squad comes after my jedi friends and sees this ithorian shooting them, they will most likely swap to one of the many weapons my armor is vulnerable to.
I would like to thank the correspondent for standing up for our profession, and I understand that only so much can be done. So I would like to start this petition so that the Devs get a real idea of how much we need viable armor!

just wear triple 80 ithorian.. for the most part energy electric and kin are the weapons out there and you will be fine...
fighting soemone with stun weapons is a hazard in everyday ... but for the most part the triple 80 should cover you well enough

Thanks! I plan to stick it out with my ithorian hoping that the armor issue is resolved soon.

even if they don't change it, they could at least tell us it's intentional. /sign

yeah it is..
One should think that they have some kind of versioning tool doing a big thing this..
It was working then they borked it, they should be able if not to rollback that part of the code then atleast try and incorporate the old code..

Why am I seeing so many threads of this topic? There are at least 3 in 3 different forums that I respond to keep them at the top, and one of them is in this forum.
The Armor Correspondent has told us that this is messed up and they have informed the Devs. This has been stated several times. A petition is nice, but the time for it has passed. The Devs are aware and will fix it whenever they get to it... that is the only question, when?
I think if you really want to help, find those other thread that are already going and build them up, respond to them and keep them at the top. I believe the bigger threads get more attention.

The acid hole is critical, too many high power acid weapons out there to have this as a hole... And the 25% blast will actually increase the damage output of a power hammer!
