Thread: Layered or Not Layered? That is the Question!

I'm looking to buy some battle armor and I'm wondering if I should get Layered or not.


Exactly what benefits does layering add to the armor?


What is the theoretical maximum resists on battle armor, layered and unlayered?


I mostly PvE although I might PvP a little.

Kinetic Layered
Kin: 7200, Energy: 4800, Elemental: 6000

Energy Layered
Kin: 4800, Energy: 7200, Elemental: 6000

Primus Layered
Kin: 6600, Energy: 6600, Elemental: 5400

Unlayered
Kin: 6000, Energy: 6000, Elemental: 6000

These are theoretical max.

I would go with unlayered or Primus Layered.
