Just wanting to know when the combat balance comes into play and our armor goes down in status, will you still keep your prices since it will still be at the same level in comparison to other armors, or will you lower your prices because of the lowered resists?

If it suddenly starts using smaller quantities of rare and expensive resouces then I will lower my prices. As this is highly unlikely I suspect I will instead keep everything the same and just sell more of other types of suit instead.

That will depend entirely on what people are willing to pay.

There is a point where I'd stop selling armor, if the return didn't justify the effort and expense.

If resource requirements stay the same (which they probably will), then I see no need to alter your pricing. Besides, I still pay the same cpu for hides, and I'm still mining minerals for the same cost.

no....

However, i might slightly raise(20%) the prices of other armor (thinking Padded, Tantel) if they suddenly becomemore widelyuseful. Padded, if it becomes useful, would theoretically be the most expensive armor, due to the hides. If the quality (and through that, the demand) matched the resources costs, I could see the price going way up. Tantel, i can see as having a slight price increase due to rising demand. As for the others, I don't see the demand changing much, nor the resouces quantities/qualities, thus I don't see the price changing at all.

Somehow I doubt it

I would expect prices to drop accross the board for everything for one simple reason, people will no longer be able to solo 25k missions. That is the gravy of the economy and it will be drying up. People will be doing 10k missions instead. So if you want to sale armor you either lower the cost to be in line with the new econ your to talk to your full and unused vendors all day. Your choice. I just hope the cost of meat goes down so I can keep producing food.

I don't for see lowering my prices.

1.) B/c my armor is priced as low or lower then most smiths on my server.
2.) Resource requirements will be the same.
3.) If I make top notch armor now, my armor will continue to be top notch, just on the current scale
4.) Did T21's, FWG5's, etc.... down in price?? No
5.) Freaking tired of paying out the a$$ for wooly hide lol

anyway just my opinion on the matter

I will charge what my server's economy will dictate.

prices have gone down a bit already and they might dip again.

If I want to sell out of stuff I lower the price, If I want to stay somewhat stocked I keep it a little higher. I am happy with my current pricing, where it doesnt seel too fast that I have to be a slave to my factories but it moves off the shelves enough to keep me in the black

It's not up to us what armor sells for. The only thing we control is weather we'll be willing to sell at that price or not.

I suspect prices will indeed fall, because as others have said combat types won't be solo'ing 20-30k missions anymore. I'm selling my ubese suits right now for 280k a suit, and I'll be willing to dip to 150k before I decide it isn't worth it. It all depends on what the combat types decide to pay for armor.

(and I'd like to point out as well thatfew of us are pricing by resource cost. or if we are it's like 500 cpu )

holey crap ubese for 280k, that's just harsh well economies differ.

I barely charge that much for composite.

I think this revamp will be the deciding factor ir i say in the armor business.

The lack of decent hides has been killing me.

Who knows maybe i'll just sell kashyyykian for my fellow wookies and padded as clothing
