Maybe you guys can help me. I am looking to get my master combat medic/doctor a suit of composite armor. I know some armorsmiths that can do runs of armor for me as long as i supply all materials and factories etc. he is unsure what to make honestly as he is new etc. What do i need to get this armor, like what base etc etc. Someone told me ingame to get 80% electricity special and 36% stun (or whatever is good stun at the moment), and 70% base on all etc. Woth a Effectiveness slice, i should be able to get 90% peices from that and their should be no vuln's etc.

Reason i want this armor is that no one sells it on my server at all, even in the millions. I have a master doctor/combat medic account, sometimes i buff a overt by accident, and then all the kiddies start shooting cause they think its funny (doesnt happen after midnight for me for some reason lol, guess they are in bed) anyway, i always throw a mind area poison for 1000 tick mind, pull out my krayt jawa ion rifle and fire mindshot1 until they all bite the dust. Ive taken out groups of 5-10 people with ease, But sometimes i do bite the dust when everyone has Geo Blasters or fencers etc. I know stun is tough to make but i just want 1, Good set of armor, that i can macro on myself when the sh!t hits the fan and i gotta start throwing poisons lol, I need to stay alive for at least 30 seconds for everyone's mind to drop to +1 so i can start using my mindshot1 and deathblowing them all.

bah more than you guys needed to know sorry to bore ya lolol. I know this is simple math etc, i am just curious as to any experiences you guys have with high end armor like this. And/Or is it worth it to start collecting nightsister shards/layers and krayt scales etc to make armor like this? or should i just get 24 full suits and start slicing them?

um aren't you on ahazi? just go to karabas' shop theres tons of 36 stun 85+% base stuff there.. it would be about impossible to put together a suit of 36+ stun 90% comp

People that whined and cried for the first CU got what they had coming from the NGE.

Well, with the materials I use, 4% base layers get me 65% base (and pretty low encumb). For 36% Stun you'd need 12% Stun, 4.x% Layers (I'm only a 10-point smith, but others can raise the 4% to almost 5%). That would get you your 70% base and 36% stun (or at least close to it).

Now, I'm not sure if getting 4% Base 12% Stun layers is easy or not, but I'd imagine a 12-point smith could do so without a problem.

Then, for 90% base, every piece would need at least a 28% effectivness slice (maybe 29%).

So, there you have it. Depending on the OQ/SR of the materials used in the segment crafting and final combine, you MIGHT have to have some NS Layers or Janta Hides to add an extra 3-7% to the final base. Be warned that it would take a LOT of identical sets though... It would be easier to try for less stun and higher slices if 90% is a must
