I've not noticed faster degradation... are you sure you're not fighting creatures on a higher level than you used to?

If anything though, I have noticed that I take more damage to health and less to action or mind than I used to. They may have balanced it the way it is supposed to be... 70% chance to hit health, 20% action, 10% mind. This would increase the rate at which chest pieces and jackets degrade.

Sales haven't changed, armor hasn't been decaying faster, I'm pretty sure that everything is how it was. Note that if you had 80% Kinetic, 65% Base armor, getting hit by non-kinetic hits would decay it much faster since more damage is getting through.

One thing that has changed lately is how certain high-end mobs do their damage. Try doing some leveling on Endor, and you'll notice that a number of critters now will default to a ranged acid or energy attack. If you're using 3KL Composite that hasn't been sliced to over 80% on the base effectiveness, you might notice that the condition degradesa bit quicker, since you're taking more damage.

This might explain a bit of it.
