Well I am not certain how rare the resources are, but I am working on getting everything together for a suit of RIS. Currently I have 10 gurk hides, 6 peko feathers, 5 Woolimander bones, haven't started on the GDK scales, I know they are horrid, but I am waiting till I get swordsman mastered and have 11 of the gurk and woolis. Really what I would like to know is about how often the resources spawn. I sent out survey droids last spawn to see if I could find anything and kept my eyes open for the stuff you would need before that while I was traveling but it was only recently(last spawn) that I saw Oridium spawn and this spawn I found Chanlon ore. Neither is mind boggling good. The chanlon is so so...the oridium, pretty poor. Also the Rori fiberplast and Rori wooli hide has been terrible every time I have checked. How often do the rarer things liek oridium and chanlon respawn? Would it be like once a month...every few months...or longer? I would like to make the best RIS I can, and I have time I am sure before I pick up 10 GDK scales to look for better resources, but in general am I likely to see this stuff spawn again any time soon?
I know most things tend to shift about once a week or so. So I will keep after the Chromium and Titanium aluminums, the rori fiberplast and other stuff. I also spend a great deal of time searching vendors for stuff from a long time back that might be good to use, but now I am poor and getting poorer...
RIS takes up so much time I don't find a lot of time to go solo grouping for cash.
At any rate since I have given up on Jedi this about the only thing keepng me going and I want to make it worth all the effort. I still need to camp nightsisters and janta I guess for good enhancers/segments, I don't suppose any of my rancor/famba/voritor/sharnaff/brackaset/kryat stuff will be worth using as enhancers...(of course not the armor segments of each).
On another note...I have been holding on to 8 pieces of exceptional Kryat compositesegments with +33% base on them. If I was to use these in making me some composite armor, do you think I should wait and use them after the armor nerfage? Or do you think that they will be overkill, with hard capped maxes? Or will they be even better because it will be harder to hit the maxes? I guess most of that is conjecture, but wanted to get the take on when I should try making all this, before or after nerfage happens?
Oh and I am planning on going armorsmith when I finally do want to make this, simply for piece of mind, and to say I made them myself, so I am trying to take into account the quest as well. Also Ithink I am close toscrounging up 1 extra experiment point in tapes...should I take even more time to save up the money to buy up to +2, or does any one know if the added experimentation fromt the Jedi Force sensitivity stuff will add to or override what we have in tapes? Again I want to make the best stuff possible and don't want to be kicking myself because of some programming conversion after the nerf, or because I didn't hurry and make them before. It seems like a no win situation.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

it might NEVER spawn decent
my advice is just post what you have and what you are willing to pay.
I got some Oridium that spawned 3 or 4 weeks after the server came up. I thnk I paid about 200cpu for it. I paid similar amounts for hides and a couple other resources.
Chances are that this stuff has spawned on your server and another AS has got some, you just need to track it down.

Now I had been there before to check to see what resources an item takes to craft but I had neglected to investigate the resource tracker stuff. Thats pretty nifty. I can see all the stuff by name that has been on the server and how long ago it was around and on what planets. Sheesh...this kind of thing would be great thing to have in game.
