What is the highest base you can get on tantel armour? (before slice) And its only helm, chest and boots that can be made isnt it?

thing with tantel is that the base and special are mutually exclusive. so if you want high base max base.... if you want high special (energy) dont bother with base.
With decent krayt or voritor scales, and 14% energy layer expect 50-60% energy, but only like 9-10 base

Yes, but a kryat scale moves everything except stun into special right? So I was wondering how high I could get all the resists if they were in special leaving stun lower than the rest.

Krayt scale is not the best option. You would still have to choose between experimenting on Special (moving energy only) or Base (moving the rest). The difference is that Special resists are not moved by slicing.
A crazy good Ranchor or Janta Hide on the other hand may up the base quite a lot.
