Thread: Trading in old armor

I am never surprised any more when a new customer buts a full suit of armor and the offers his old suit to my vendor. Most of the time its badly damaged and or not nearly as good as the suit they just bought.
Its mildly annoying that theu often charge more for what they offerd then I did for what they bought but I am used to that too.
All of this has got me thinking that maybe old armor (and weapons and swoops for that matter) should have some value to them maybe as a recycled item. Maybe a recyle kit type of a deal where the armor is turned into base metal or ore not nearly as good as before it was made but something.

I like that Idea a lot. I for one have a hard time tossing things. But recycling I think I could handle.

yeh, in UO i did some tailoring , and to gain skill i crafted robes. . . which cost alot of cloth to make. . . But as i made them i could take scissors and cut them into cloth, but i got less than what i started with. . .
i think they could implement something like this, but like you can choose what u want to recycle from it, like maybe Metal, or segments. . . .and then you could repair them if damage and use them again.,...........

Yeah I like that UO concept also. Repairing segments hmm and interesting Idea I need to give that some thought. The way serial numbers work it might be hard to do atm but after curb who know what is possible.
