Does anyone know yet what is needed for the Imperial armor? I saw rebel listed in a sticky above, but didn't want to assume it would be the same for the Imperial armor.

/bump again Thanks for the bump.
If it is the same as the rebel armor, just say so. I'm not an armorsmith, but I am trying to find out so we can have the resources on hand for our stormtrooper unit.

hi, just posted this in the Schems Thread:
Scout Armour
Resource 1: Polymer
Resource 2: Aluminium
Stormtrooper Armour
Resource 1: Polymer
Resource 2: Steel
Shock Trooper Armour (Schem is called Assault Armour in datapad)
Resource 1: Polymer
Resource 2: Steel
Other than this, they need the same number ofthese resources as the reb armour do of their resources, plus the extras, like enhancements and cloth requirements are the same.

If I remeber right the rebel stuff needed scaly hide. IMP Faction armor needs no hide?

I've checked the left bicep and chestplate of the three types of Imp armour, results as above, so it doesn't look like any hide is needed, except for that in the segs/cores etc.

Anyone think it's ridiculous that rebel smiths have to pay more to make armour with a hide requirement than imperials?
Both with hide or both without I say.

Well with the FP cost and the fact that the quality of the hide will only affect condition I would say the hides will make up a very small part of the total price. I think the reason for not using hides was apperence, the rebel armor looks more like cloth and the imperial one like plastic. But this doesn't explain the usage of hides in old composite...

Mcgreag watch out... as a friend of my keeps reminding me in game, you are trying to use logic on a game that the developers dont appear to give a ______ about logic
so.. i'm surprised they dont require wood or beans to make the armor

I think the reason rebel armor uses hide and imp doesnt is the fact each schematic costs the same reguardless of race where as the cost on imp scales.
