I am a fresh new novice AS. I have grinded to 2/0/0/0 using armor upgrade kits. I think I read somewhere I should get to 3/0/0/0 and then grind ubese shirts. I have two requests:
1. Can you confirm thats the right thing to grind? and
2. Post the schematic, so I know what resources to get? Thanks!

Just my 2 cents since I am new too and grinding...
Good advice making stuff and experimenting.
For the grind, with double exp I prefer the upgrade kits. I tried the shirts...
- Shirts give 188 - kits give 126 (double exp w/ entertainer buff)
- Shirts take 60 sec to complete - kits take 30
- I can do 5-6 kits in the time it takes to complete 3 shirts
- more clicks with shirts - more resources - 75 I think versus 30 for kits
- need to stand by special machine with shirts - adds to time to load and click through imo

Talitha

Sounds about right.
I'd suggest you go 3004 next so you get some experimentation points so you can start messing with crafting and experimentation before even hitting Master. It's a long grind so take some time off in between and try making some new stuff along the way. You don't really have tobe a full 10 exp point smith to make decent grind-quality armor these days.

It's 30 steel, 20 Iron and 10 fiberplast per shirt. And yes you have to be next to a crafting machine, but you don't have any experiement options so It doesn't seem to be any longer for me. You have one extra click and no extra delay so I think the extra xp with the shirts is worth the hassle. You could do it with the upgrades too if you want though, especially duirnig 2x XP. With this I did a tier 4 box in about 45 minutes...no macro and minor interuptions....One day I'll get a macro to work for me!!!
