I dunno if it would be very tedious, but maybe you make a sticky where you keep a log of the recent questions and answers you got from the devs.

example:

June 29: Again raised the issue of factory runs being borked in the corr forums.
June 29: Got confirmation fro the devs that health enhancers are being looked at and shold be out soon
June 30: Asked once again about armorsmith bugs and was told that it would all be hotfixed in 30 minutes.


stuff like that so we always know where to look for updates on your activites... this might bear the risk of deserting the boards as we wouldent have anything to talk about =)

I would have to maintain something like this, which would be a significant effort, but I can try if you like. Give me the day to figure out the best way (I may have a minion keep it updated for me and I just tell them when I have stuff).

Let me think on it. But that's a damn good idea.

aye, i know it would be a lot of work keeping it updated, but then again you would avoid having to open every new post asking on a question you know you have answered, you could just now and again hit one up and refer to the sticky... but then again you wouldent have much to do

It could be made pretty simply where you could just input date and comment, the code could line everything else up and load the proper info. I know it would be pretty simple to make in Macromedia Flash. I have something similar. It's just a basic journal-like thingy.

You input data into a database from one page, and then another page (For public viewing) retrieves the latest posts in the database and orders them last to first so the most recent stuff gets listed first.

That would be fun to work on... if I wasn't busy with other projects

heh yeah thats a possibillity, i was thinking more in the lines of a sticky post just being updated with the last 7 days posts or something, maybe you could get a Calie tracker made, like the Dev-Tracker

I personally think it's a great idea.

I dunno if Caile has the ability, but it could be locked/unlocked by Caile only as he updates it to keep it clean.

I don't have the ability to lock/unlock posts sadly. I can request it, but that amount of unlocking/locking would give poor GarVa a headache

You could use this until we get something better. It won't cover the Correspondent boards, obviously.

June 9: Again raised the issue of factory runs being borked in the corr forums.
June 10: Got a response in my factory run thread, but it pertained to jedi.
June 11: Again raised the issue of factory runs being borked in the corr forums.
June 12: Cracked a whip at Starnick for bringing up more commando bugs.
June 13: Got a response, saying we'll be getting a revamp "Soon".
June 14: Silence...
June 15: Silence...
June 16: Silence...
June 18: Silence...
June 19: A dev response! Factory runs will be fixed with Publish 19! Im jumping for joy, unfortunately the fix only pertains to newly created factory crates!


In a way, thats sorta how my month has been with the Proton Rifle...

yeah, it might seem tedious, but that way we wouldent have to keep prodding caile we could just swing by the tracker and know that all that can be done is being done, and the devs are once again the bottleneck

Eh keep prodding him, I think he's actually gotten more of a dev response than us commandos have had in 2 months...
