I know that if you have, say, two +1 skill tapes for armor experimentation you CAN'T put them in the same article of clothing to get a +2 bonus...you only get the one.
But how does it affect different tapes?
For example. I was given a pair of pants from a friend. He accidentally put a +4 armor exp skill tape in it then remembered I was working on AS. When I examine the stats for the pants it says: +4 Armor Exp, +14 Intimidation, +14 Warcry.
Would I recieve any benefit from the +4 armor exp? Or just one of the +14? And is there anyway I would beable to tell?

You get all 3. You can have an item of clothing with multiple mods, and they'll all work as intended.
But as you said, adding another armor exp + tape would have no effect on the pants, which, frankly, makes the +1 and +2 tapes crap unless you somehow managed to get +19 with the rest of your outfit.

Thanks for the response...I don't have any other skill tapes yet.
Is +4 good?

+4 by itself -might- reduce your crit fails by a negligible amount, but add +6 more in other clothing and you will have another point of experimentation. For each 10 points of armor experimentation, you get an additional point for experimentation. You can only benefit from a maximum of +25 from clothes (2 additional points for experimentation +5 for... well... to reduce, possibly, crit fails).
