Sorry guys i hit enter .. i dont see a opition to edit post.

Iam a Newbie armorsmith... iam making UBESE 72% Kinetic blah blah blah ..

For some reason tho people who buy my armor seem to be coming back .. saying the condition has run low .. in only a couple of dayz ..

Is there a way to improve my condition on ARMOR?

Or is it the customer is wearing the armor out ?

Thanks guys .. just dont want to sell bogus armor

They are most likely running armor out... to increase condition on ubese ignore base resist entirely... putting points into the durability line decreases ham encumberance while increasing the condition (at least on ubese... here as of late RIS and Composite increase condition w/ points put into the experimental resistance line NOT the durability line)

There are a few factors that makes Ubese decay very quickly:
It has low condition (compare dto composite) to begin with.
Armor decay is based on how much damage gets through.
Ubese has lower resists than composite, so more damage gets through.
Ubese jackets cover the chest hitzone as well as both bicep hitzones so it is taking more damage than a composite chest alone would.

On the issue of durability experimentation with composite:
If your go ahead and read the bar descriptions there is no experimental resistance line in the final combine of Composite, the special protections come entirely from the layers and segment. That's why composite made with krayt segments has no special resistance. For composite the bottom bar will increase condition, fairly quickly I might add.

There isnt much you can do to be honest - my ubese usually has between 18k and 19k condition on average. Now depending on what Im hunting the armor can last weeks or if Im nightsister hunting maybe a week or so before it needs replacing (ive killed Elders/Krayts that have taken 4k condition out of brand new armor per fight so as you can see 18k condition armor doesnt last very long.)

I guess the one good thing is that ubese if fairly inexpensive to replace compared to composite.

You could give/sell them some armor repair tools to carry with them so when condition gets low they can repair the pieces as they need or you could offer free or cheap armor repairs.

Apart from that your customers best option for longer lasting armor will be to save more and go with some Kinetic layered oomposite.

I echo most everything in the previous posts. Still, how much can an AS influence the decay rate in armor by choosing materials with a high DR? If DR does factor into the equation, do materials with a high DR significantly increase the life of the armor (assuming all other things being equal)?
