OK I am looking for some advice as a newish armorsmith. The only wookie armor I have made is the origianl set, and its pretty basic stuff without layers.
So when it comes to say BM (or Hunting armor) what do you all do with the layers, what stats, what is a good final set?
I know wookie stats allow for more "heavy" armor by what are we talking about?
There have been great posts about comp. and layers (mostly for comp) but not much for wookies and I am lost. Did a quick test and made it much like ubese, didn't come out very good. So any wookie experts got some advice?
Thanks

I just made my Tri-Spec Hunting armor (80kin /80ene /10stun 71% Base)
As with layers, its pretty much the same way I make comp.

yep, make it like comp - experiment on base.
I use 3 x 4/4 Kinetic layers. But you could easily sub one Kinetic layer for a stun layer with high base (per previous post).

That is fine for Hunting, but black mnt. only hold 2 layers as I recall. Same thing 2x 4/4 or something different?
Thanks

To me black mountain is the wookiee equivalent of ubese. I use two 13/2 kinetic layers to hit mid 70s kinetic on the special with a base in the upper teens, and my resources are nothing special.

Thanks.
You use two 2/13 layers as in Base 2 Special 13?
Just wanted to make sure

For black mountain, I maxed kin and put the rest into ham/condition on the layers. With good resources, you could hit 80kin in 5 points on the final combine, and put hte rest into ham/condition. The result is a very light grinding armor with condition much higher than ubese. I think my black mtn was something like 80kin/18-20base with 24k condition and very low ham.
As stated above, experiment hunting similar to composite. With old ahazi resources, you could hit 72 base, so it is probably higher now.

I am not sure about other servers, or even the other smiths on Valcyn but I don't make Black Mountain because (with the resources I have) it comes out to be as heavy as Hunting Armour. Or I can make some light Hunting Armour that is many many times better.
