I cant seem to find why im not getting over 64base with my armor maybe someone can help?

My layers currently look like this...

Base: 2%(3pts used)
Integ: 316
HAM: 16
Stun: 12% (9pts used)

Using the following rescoures:

Crism: 1256oq/sr
Metal: 1952oq/sr
Vertex: 1708oq/sr

The segs come out to be...

Base: 28%
Integ: 1333
HAM: 61
Stun: 38
Elec: 13

And the actual armor comes out to be 39stun 80elec 64 base... ive tried making layers with more points into base but only get 65base with 38 or 37 stun , think i could get some input please?

Your layer resources are fine.

Three things that I would look at:

1. Getting double amazings on your layers.

2. Better segment resources.

3. Better final resources.

I hit 3% base/13% stun on layers (8 in special (7 point amazing, 1 great), 4 in base (4 amazing)). Segments come out at 31% base, 39.6% stun. If I use my best resources for final, I can hit 67% base 40% stun. If I use even one not-quite-best resource on the final, I losea point of base.

Of course, your resources may not allow you to hit 67/40 (I'm on Chilastra... I've seen 68/40 here, but it requires some ancient naboo fiber that no one has anymore). Do what you can with what you have. Double amazings are a pain to grind out, but needs to be done if you want to make the best possible armor. I grind layers in a research city.I put as many points as i can in one line (7 in special for example), then toss it if it's a great or less. If I do get an amazing, i take a swig of port, then do the other line (4 in base). Again, trashed if it's not amazing. On my stun layers, final point goes into special to fill it out (does not need to be amazing for me).

I don't bother trying for amazings on segment or final. Only purpose there is reducing HAM. Just max base with greats.

awsome i tried it out and managed to get 39stun 65base, im assuming my segment resources are lacking, however my segments came out to be 30% base, have any other suggestions?

I don't think 40% stun is possible on Infinity... what is the best stun armor you can find on your server?
