Thread: FP Cost on armor bio-link gone?
This was not a suit of clone armor it was a suit of post CU crafted rebel asasult armor. Personally I think he just got lucky wiht a bug.
As for recon suits not costing anything. Was it pre-cu or post CU? the pre-cu marine recon suits and pre-cu ST armor suits dont have an attached FP cost or at most an FP cost of 5. As they were purchased using insane ammounts of FP to begin with. It's also why they were the only low base (30 percent) suits that actually converted to something reasonably decent.
As for suit costs several things seem to affect the cost of bio-linking. That being rank and being a smuggler. Race has no modifiers that i've ever run into. But being a smuggler definately does have an affect when bio-linking to yourself. As my smuggler toons will get a statement saying it'll cost me X ammount to bio-link and then when I do. It charges me a reduced ammount. IE say it says 1000 FP to biolink a bracer or something. When I actually do biolink it it only charges me about 780 FP on that toon.

Incorrect, rank has nothing to do with the cost, have bio-link with a private and a colonel and it costed exactly the same.
