Thread: PSG's how can you tell they are working?

I have a couple PSG's as I figured they were better than nothing when not using armor. However when I am hit I see now metion in the combat window of any damage reduced absorbed. In fact I don't see much of a difference at all. Once its equiped its always on right?

holy cow,.how many times does this need to be posted,..heh.
Always un equip , then re-equip yer shield before a fight. There is a few bugs on these puppies but nothing that can't be worked around with alittle hand hold'in. Also, when taking a shuttle of logging, the base stats will shift around. Not the percentages, mind you, but what they actually resist.
So,.make sure you Examine the PSG to make sure you are, in fact, being protected from whatever dmg yer up against. Example,.if you're fighting melees, make sure your psg protects against kinetic.

ou have to uneguip and requip before each and every fight???? Isn't that a rather severe problem that should have been fixed?

To ensure that the shield will actually be registered by the system and stop damage you unfortunatly do need to keep reequiping them. Its a big bug, but we are rather low down on the priority list for fixes.
