Thread: damn chestplate
grrr
when i went ot make the manufacturing schem for my factory run of them i had 1 amazing success in the resistance line, allowing for 1 point to get into the ham line....bringing the kinetic up to 80%.....yay
I've run into this before, but with electric layers and base resists.
Basically, it means you're right on the edge of the 80% mark. There's a difference in the ratio of some of the components. You'll need to upgrade one slightly to get the chest up to the rest. Or, downgrade and change the layer/segment experimentation.
Sux...don't it?
Those amazing's can really help - you can sometimes push past the upper cap on experimentation...
For example, I used segments with 19% kinetic, and got the armor (low HAM suit) to 60% - but managed to get the kenitic to 80%![]()

That's more than likely the hidden decimal working its magic. You segment may actually be 19.4% kinetic, and the final base could be 60.4%, making the final kinetic 79.8%, or 80%.
Shadowfire's finally gotten to the point where we can mix and match different materials to get to 70% base on triple layered suits. It's very nice to save the OQ+SR = 1800 wooly and use the OQ+SR = 1600 and still hit 70% base. All thanks to the last spawn of colat iron.
