So far ive had to buy 3(ish) sets of composite.When my armor gets below 50% condition I go and have a master armorsmith repair my armor.EVERY time I get pieces broken,one time 4 pieces broke,or pieces with crappy condition(the composite I have now USED to have 60000ish condition... now it has 18000, is something wrong here? or do I just have bad luck? The armorsmiths that have repaired my armor have 99% kits...Id switch to ubese if it didnt look so damn ugly.

The 99% isnt the chances of repair, nor is it anything direct, such as the amount of condition repaired. I don't know what the numbers do. You have probably had not the best of luck, but it is best to repair the armor at half condition.

never seen comp armor with 60k condition.

"Repair" is a sad joke at the expense of armorsmiths... expect to have at least one fail per suit and an average of 20-30% condition reduction. You could just go out and buy a crate of repair tools and have about the same success rate as a master armorer...

I have failed 1 out of 20 times with a %100 kit (1 out of 20 is actual count)

odd I've repaired easily 10 suits with my 99.9% tools and so far have had 2 total pieces fail. Yeah get plenty of 10% reductrions, but that's a lot better then a complete failure.

Hrmm.. my last 7 full suits... 7 fails... (2 suits did slip through with no fails but you know what that means for 2 of the other ones) so 7 fails in 63 pieces (11% fail rate, which actually climbs slightly when I add in my loose piece repairs)

I'm a master with +12 armor repair and using 100% tools... soo what are you doing different?

Oh I forgot, I throw a melon over my shoulder then spin to the left three time before I repair each piece of armor. If it fails I have to spin to the left 4 times and eat the melon that hit the ground to remove my bad luck

j/k, really, I don't know what I'm doing differently, but I guess I have good luck or you all have bad luck, as I've never had all these horid fails everyone else seems to have, and I don't have any repair modifiers.

I have only ever seen 60k condition composite armor once. I made a helmet with exceptional krayt segments, and the condition came out to 61900. (Exceptional part was the integrity) I can almost guarantee you dont have 3 full suits of 60k condition composite.

Repair is completely random from what I have seen. I have watched my brother repair his ubese jacket 5 times, yes five times at about 500 condition with a master ranger/MHS character and got repairs with minor blemishes every time. I dont get it.I use my repair clothing and I might get one minro blemish repair per suit and 3 fall apart.

I didnt say I had 3 suits, I said the suit I have now used to have 60k. And you know what? I could be wrong, But I know definately it was high condition.
