I just recently purchased some Krayt scales. My question is this - I know the scales move some stats into special protection. My question is, how do I raise those stats? Do I experiment in Special Protection, or do I experiment on the base resists, and then they get moved over to special protection at the end? I am asking because I am looking to add it to Chitin.

and countless speederbikes and land speeders.
I love being a spy.

Everything listed on the scale will go to special. If the armour had the resist in base to start with you increase it further by experimenting in base. If it was special to start with increase with special experiments. If it was vulnerable to start with it will not increase no matter.

Note that all the above "to start with" means the resists on an unenhanced piece of the same layering (if applicable).
