Thread: Which armour part gets least damaged in combat?
Bicep pieces seem to be the least hit, I use my gloves for extra AAs as they have more sockets than my bicep pieces and don't get hit often either... If you still need more pieces i'd try bracers, but they will get damaged faster than biceps.

The reason I am asking is that I am going to put some good attachments in an armour piece (will probably use ubese shirt also but that is not enough and I am not sure if I will use a BE shirt instead). To me it looks that chest plate get hit more often, followed by helmet then probably pants. Not 100% sure.

4 socket Ubese shirt
4 Socket Mabari Belt
4 Socket Ubese Bando (loss of backpack can hamper some)
4 Socket Bicep's
4 Socket Gloves
never put anythign good in a Helmet, Chest or Legs... as you replace those the most...
Your boots are ok also, but dont put the really good things in the boots..
Best place for Really nice Skill Attachments are the Mabari Belt and Ubese undershirt...
I would say mabarri belts or your gloves.
I don't wear a ubese undershirt because there are some good cloths attachment out there and my undershirt is theonly place to put them...
be enhanced undershirt with 4 sockets >> ubese shirt with 4 sockets.
Does the helm really decay faster then bracers/boots/gloves? I've only been keeping track of my ubese sales for a month now, but while chests sells twice as much as anything else, and legs sell a third more then other items, helm/boots/bracers/gloves all seem to have sold the same amount.
It could be a statistical anomoly as my sample is pretty small atm, or it could be the fact that ubese helm is dog ugly. But it looks like the ubese helm might not decay any faster then other small parts.
As for which piece would be best for attachments, I'd guess gloves or bracers, or an ubese shirt or bandolier (if you can take off your backpack). Don't know if someone would want to give up psg's for a mbari belt.
If it's some insanely uber attachment like +25 poison resistance or something I'd say screw a BE shirt with crappy modsand protect the attachment by using an ubese shirt. Or conversely you could put em in like a bracer and then just never risk repairing it. At zero condition the composite still has some resists (30% ish I think on a good piece at zero). Or at least I think that's how they work.
I don't remember, but is Biceps and Bracers hit by health hits or action hits? Guess that health hits are more common than action hits.
Hope that Biceps are not hit that often. I have an uber looted Chitin biceps which have +25 ranged defense, Stun defense (dont remember how much), +10 cover and 90% resists, very low HAM and 44k condition. Payed a fortune for that (but stuff like this is harder to get than credits). Using that on my Master ws / Carbineer character and +25 range defense doubles my ranged def.

also you cant put AA in be shirts they take CA
Which is the point.
If you were ubese shirt you have no slot on which to use CA and there are some good CA too out there...
I got a +10 ranged defense in my be shirt..
