Personally, I don't. The only exception would be if it was something I wanted in armor for myself.
Many of my guildmates drop stuff off as well. Some of it to make a suit for themselves, and some...just because they thought I might have a use for it.
The reason I ask, I get tells constantly asking if I want to buy armor enhancements. Sometimes I'll take the time and suggest they use it for a custom set for themselves, but usually just reply "No thanks".

Well, I've been taking a stance that, depending on how the combat balance and smuggler revamp goes, voritor and krayt scales may have renewed use. So I hit the bazaar for voritor scales if they're cheap, and have picked up quite a few krayt scales lately. If overall resists are lowered, and depending on if/how slicing changes, 5-10% to 6 different resists may be alot more useful than it is now.....

I did at first BUT I can make better with crafted advance components. The key as most of you know is to stock the higest possible
resources and craft with 900 or better stats all together. I have my resources divided into levels 900 or better 800-900 and so on and craft and price according to the resource / outcome level.

no you can't
a segment enhancement like a scale adds on top of what you craft. You could craft better composite than ones with krayt segments, but not composite better than ones with krayt scales.
there is a difference between scales and segements.

Not very often on the trade forums here. Prices are ridiculous and I can't compete with most of the other armorsmiths. I usually count on all my PA members (I love my PA) or sometimes I find some really good deals on the bazaars or a personal vendor.

I generaly don't... mainly due to 2 issues. I don't have the room to store them, and most people want too much for them.
most of what I get, is thru friends and guildmates. I've bought a few, mainly when I'm making some krayt mabari for myself (wonderful low enc armor there) and noone has brought me any lately.

I buy a lot, but then I'm new and experimenting a lot. Janta hide especially is good because I'm trying to make a suit of 90% comp. So far the best I've gotten is 88% on a chest, but with an added 3% from hide my odds will improve vastly.
