Hey all Armorsmiths-
I have a tool I use for shipwrights, that I've recently made some armorsmith data for (very limited). So check THIS LINK out for you armorsmiths who'd like to help. Right now, the armorsmith data files are very limited, so the output reflects that. I'd like to ask your help to finish them. (especially since the data I used was pre-CU data from SWGCraft)-- There's just no feasible way for me to do it myself, as I'm only a Shipwright, and SWGCraft crafting schematics are out-of-date.
Basically, I need two data files for each profession. The script itself is profession-independent. For Shipwright, it just reads in two data files I created and uses those to output *all* the data you see. below are links to the two data files (for shipwright):
shipwright_q and shipwright_s
Here are the current (limited) armorsmith data files:
armorsmith_q and armorsmith_s
I have a description of them here on swgcraft forums:
SWGCraft Forum link for Tool
let me know if you have questions!
Link to shipwright forums and 'official' thread:
Orske's Current Best Resources
As I came up with the data myself, all from SWGCraft---so you can see the current data is out-of-date, as SWGCraft still has HAM encumbrance (which I just skipped), so I assume the data is all out-of-date. If you just look at the two armorsmith files, and do a quick once-over on the threads, it's pretty easy to figure out. If you want to help but still have questions, let me know, I'm more than willing.
I also have some limited Artisan and Weaponsmith data there (as this post reflects a near-identical post in the artisan and weaponsmith forums) so any of you who want to help, let me know!

roger that, I had no clue, I think there I just put data in because I *knew* SWGCraft was not to spec currently and I needed *something* there
EDIT: Fixed.

All the schematics on SWGCraft are correct in terms of resources. This I know. (I updated it).
I made a .txt file with all schematics resource usage and experimenting qualities. I could send it to you if you want a look.

The experimentation qualities that are listed on the swgcraft skilltree weren't updated by me, but I did post them all in the forum for Trokk to update when he updated for post-CU. It was just something he didn't do.

Good to know the resources are all correct. I would love to see the text file you created too, I might even be able to write a quick script to convert it to what I need (since we all hate hard-coding, heh) - try to PM it to me, if it's too large, let me know, and I'll send you an email to send it to.

When is UT used for armor resources? Thought it was OQ/SR/(DR) for cores, not OQ/UT?

UT is now only used on PSGs. Everything else uses either OQ/SR or OQ/SR/DR

don't worry about current stats on resources required, i took 'liberty' on some just to show how the tool works, until i get data that's correct for armorsmith.

speaking of correct data, thanks for the file keeper32. i'll be going through it tonight (hopefully) to pull out data I need for armorsmith. i hope to finish it up in free time, which has been nearly non-existant lately, heh. I'll update my status in this thread as often as I can.
