Thread: Will work for armor
For Armor:
* 7x Giant Dune Kimogilascales
* 7x Woolamander harrower bone fragments
* 7x Gurk King hides
* 7x Peko Peko feathers (optional)
For Slice:
* 7x shock absorbant padding
* 7x reactive micro plating
Is this correct for a R.I.S? (I am guessing that theese pieces wont be needed for boots/gloves as thoose are just for looks)
I am guessing that Advanced Battle Cores from Kimogila or Gorax is not used?
Is this what's used for Faction Armor as well?

Is this correct for a R.I.S? (I am guessing that theese pieces wont be needed for boots/gloves as thoose are just for looks) Even though they are just for looks, they are still needed to make the appearance...you only need seven feathers though for health optional health enhancements (they cannot be used on gloves and boots).
I am guessing that Advanced Battle Cores from Kimogila or Gorax is not used? You can use them if you want, but an AS will make cores with better resists...that's up to you.
Is this what's used for Faction Armor as well? No, Faction armor doesn't require loot, it just requires faction points so that the armorsmith can buy the schematic from a recruiter. From there, they are made just like any other amor.

So if I go for Faction Armor I cannot improve it further with loot?
indeed. And personally if your going into PvP I tend to suggest to fokl they go with primus layered instead of energy layered battle armor. For the simple reason that while many people seem to scorn them. Pistoleers in PvP or a rifleman with a kinetic rifle can royally bugger up your day if your energy layered. Especially if your using energy layered recon (As the kinetic resists go abismally low and dispite what folk seem to think. Kinetic pistols and a good pistol template have ALOT of damage output).
I tend to run about (If perhaps only due to template restrictions) in assault armor. And while I may take abit more damage from energy weapons as a result. I've found more than once it's been paid off for when some rifleman with a kinetic rifle or some pistoleer or BH template with a kinetic gun (FWG5 or scatter pistol) has started blazing away at me. They dont do half the damage they do to my fellows wearing energy armro for starters. Alot of folk also overlook the fact that kinetic weapons totally bypass PSGs as they only stop energy resists.
So thats why I recommend to those wearing battle armor to go primus layered if they layer at all. But to each their own of course.
The folk of Bria still dont seem to. Alot of my guildmates still swear by energy resists. But then. Perhaps Ic ant blame them since over half the people you fight in PvP on Bria are... Guess what?
Jedi.
Prime example. Yesterday I was in a group of 6 people. 2 of us were not jedi. Out of a group of 10 that we fought. 3 were not jedi. So I can see where their thinking comes from. Yet to be honest. I've found I tend to last as well as any other non jedi in PvP even though I'm using assault armor. Thus why I tend to recommend primus layers. And I'd certainly never recommend Kinetic layers for a PvP suit. Allways energy or primus depending. (And pretty much allways energy layers for a BH suit for Jedi hunting)

Good point...Bloodfin has their Jedi, but we have a great mix of regular proffs in there too. A more balanced armor is definately warrented.
