So I have the Clone armor, it is decaying and I decide to fix it. I then get a message saying it failed and it completely falls apart. It now has a volume rating 1/1, is there a way to restore this back to it's original condition?
Second question, what to armor cores do?

no you can't fix it... best you can do to save it is buy an anti decay kit but thatll set you back 10 mil ... second queststion: armour cores are assembly components required to make armour

I see...so armor cores are only good for amor smiths then. They are not enhancements for existing armor?

The are not enhancements; they ARE the armor essentially. Add 400 to the stats on the core, and you'll get the stats of the armor you can make with them.
