Thread: An idea to make armor stocking and crafting less tedius

whistle while you work?
What I do when I have to put a lot of suits on a vendor is use shortcut keys.
1)First I get all the stuff out to put into the bag. I use a combination of a right-click and the number 1, which will get item from crate. Goes pretty fast and you don't even need to wait for the radial menu to finish loading.
2)Have my paste command on an easy key sequence and just click on the bag and paste the name.
3)Still have no better way of getting the armor into the bag than drag and drop. Here's a vote for multiple item selection for selling items and for moving them. I'd love to see this system implemented.
Hope that helps.

as it is now you risk having some parts not coming up bad, so you cut the risk... i thik they would frown on that. And they would prolly point out that it "would be too easy"
Exactly it would be somewhat like the Jedi population. Make it tooo easy and everyone would do it. No more profit in being an armorsmith because everyone would have one. No need to run off suits anymore because you are just making them for your friends.

my suggestion for making stocking less tedious.... don't sell in packs. I never liked this idea, I have 3 vendors... 1 for each type of armor, I sell indivudial pieces and it sells well. To me you limit your customers buying options when you only sell in packs. they can't replace a bracer or pants, they have to buy a whole suit.
PLus you have to sit there and do all that extra work your talking about. The only thing I sell in packs is layered armor, which I'm too cheap to factory run, and with that I just copy and paste the names into the pack

Dragging and dropping items and pulling stuff from crates is nither hard nor easy, its just time consuming. As for making the final combine itself and experimenting on 7 pieces of armor with the exact same resources and have between 3 and 4 ponits left on every piece has nothing to do with skill ither, just another thing that takes time.I allso fail to see why it would be a bad thing if there where more AS, there are few enough crafters as it is. Most give up when they cant get all the named resources anyway.Oh. and thanks to Capt and clockwerg for the good tips, will some me a lot of time

if the only skill we have left if called persistance then SO be it!
ever try just double clicking the crate to pull a piece out by chance? Much faster that way.
Also when I'm bagging my suits, I'll prep 6 bags and name them then find 1 of the crates and pull 6 pieces out load into bags and move onto the next crate. Once a bag has a full suit in it I'll put it up for sale on my vendor and rinse and repeat til there's not a full suit left.
This way I know exactly where I'm at and dont miss any pieces being placed into bags as well as just the simplicity of it all.
