Thread: Do you armorsmiths repair better than others??

Right now, to me, repairing is kinda screwed.

In my fs grinding, I always tend to be the one attacked, therefore I go though a lot of armor repairing

Trouble is, even with my 99.999999 tools, I can only repair "You have repaired the item, but the max condition has lowered". And I only repair from 20000 of 30000 to 21000of 21000. I've already gone through 2 sets already on only one branch...and I really want to see if you armorsmiths "repair mod" helps in repairing or not (i might have to hire an armorsmith just to repair things for me)

The max condition will always go down to some degree. It's just a matter of how much. And yes, all we glorious 12-point masters suck as badly at it as you do.

You can get repair and Armour repair tapes that can increase the chance of "With only minor blenishes" and reduce the chance of "it has fallen apart". This is the same as using a 99.406% kit over a 27% kit.

What I expect is about 25% Loss in Max condition for every repair. I have seen no evidence that shows me that the remaining condition matters. I have repaired 32000/36000 and got 27000/27000. I have also repaired 1200/36000 and got 27000/27000.

My advice is to leave it as long as you can before repairing. I wait for any of mine to go below 5% cond before I repair. Plus the fewer repairs the less like you are of getting a critical failure where it falls apart.

Armoursmiths have no such mod, check the boxes in your own skills window. The only "Armour Repair" mod that exists is the one from SEAs which I believe has never worked.

This is an old issue that will probably be addressed right after they bring back battlefields.
