Thread: simple ris questio for u ris certified folks

Well i am off to become ris certified. i got everything i need except feathered armor appearance enhancer. Where do i get this schemtic how do i make it or will the dude give it to me when i travel out to get my certification??

He'll give you the feather enhancer schematic when the time is right. Also, if you want a nice souvenier, make a second RIS layer before you're done, because it'll be the last one you ever need to make.
(Just segments and enhancers now.)

He'll give you the feather enhancer schematic when the time is right. Also, if you want a nice souvenier, make a second RIS layer before you're done, because it'll be the last one you ever need to make.
Not quite true. You don't make an RIS layer (that's what the peko feather used to be used in); you make the feathered appearance enhancer that adds a health bonus to any armor.
Or it would if health bonuses were working. Which they aren't. So it is entirely possible that you WON'T make one again, at least for a while.

i just did mine a month ago and i had to make a RIS layer then a feathering appearance i think

That's interesting. Did you get a schematic for the layer, too. I was certified before the CU, and mine didn't carry over. I got the feathered appearance enhancer schematic, too. Or did you make an RIS segment and then the FAE?
