Just reached Novice Armoursmith last night, and I'm feeling slightly overwhelmed with the amount of work that this prof will require.
However, not to be beaten, I'm looking for a new AS guide that covers the AS grind. Are there any posts out there that covers it post-CU???
I've read through the guide in the stickies, but it really only applies to Master AS's.
So, any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the guide is titled that, but in the first few lines of the guide it clearly states that it does not really apply to those who have not mastered Armoursmith...

The cheapest way to grind up to 3000 AS (where you get ubese shirts) is to just make three segments, then one core, then a bracer. You can't macro this so it's slow. Once you hit 3000, you can switch to macroing ubese shirts, which are the last schematic under armor on your crafting tool.
If you've got lots of grind resources, you could just do factory runs of recon cores and then grind mabari chest plates. This is the fastest way to grind but also the most expensive.
