All,

I recently purchased a set of Rebel Battle Armor. I have collected enough faction points to bio-link and equip each piece, and have done so with all but the boots.

I tried to bio-link the boots last night and this morning, and received the following message:

"You lack the certification needed to equip this armor." (Or something similar.)

I'm a MBH/MPistoleer, and was able to bio-link and equip the rest of the armor (helmet, chestplate, leggings, etc.) but cannot equip the boots?!?

Is this a known bug? Or am I missing something obvious?

Any help or direction is appreciated...

are you sure the boots are battle armor too?

if so then it must be a bug

Yeah, I checked that the first few times it wouldn't equip for me. Apparently no one else is running into this (yet).

You get an assault cert from BH and a recon cert from pistoleer.... Are you sure the rest of the suit is battle?

You hit womp rat on the head.

I wasn't paying attention at the vendor when I was buying the suit, and picked up battle boots with the Assault suit.

Doh!

I went back to the vendor and purchased some Rebel Assault boots... much better!

(Anyone need a pair of Rebel Battle Boots?)

You can probably offer them back to the smith's for the same amount you paid. Just send an e-mail explanation so they'll know it's there. We're cool like that.
